Privacy policy
Riri Note is a product of RUBYNAV INC., 15322 Marek Ln, Guy, TX. Effective November 7, 2026.
Your device
Notes, recordings, folders, templates, source links and AI results are saved in the app’s private device storage. Local libraries are not automatically synchronized. You can export notes and delete the local library in My Space → Privacy & data.
Accounts and identifiers
Signing in (email and password, or Sign in with Apple) uses your Riri Note account, which is stored with our database provider Supabase. Credentials are transmitted over HTTPS; session tokens are held in iOS Keychain. A random installation ID identifies this installation, not hardware or advertising identity. The app registers that installation ID with its app and iOS version so every device has a Riri Note Member ID (RN-XXXX-XXXX) that support can look up; signed-in devices are linked to the account’s Member ID. The member ID comes from your authenticated account. These IDs are not provided to AI providers.
Recording and transcription
Microphone use starts only after your action and permission. Selected videos are accessed through the system picker. Apple Speech may process audio on Apple servers when on-device recognition is unavailable. Obtain permission from other participants before recording.
Optional cloud AI
With your explicit permission and an authenticated session, the selected note text and requested transformation are sent to the Riri Note API on Railway. Recognizable email, phone, credential, government-ID and payment-number patterns are masked before provider transmission. Masking is imperfect and may miss names, addresses or unusual formats; remove sensitive information yourself before sending.
Claude (Anthropic) is the primary provider. OpenAI is used only when Claude has a temporary service failure or rate limit. Refusals and safety rejections do not trigger fallback. OpenAI response storage is disabled in our requests. Provider retention and processing policies still apply; zero retention is not promised. Your API session, member ID and installation ID are not included in model prompts.
Natural voices (Riri Note Pro): when you tap Listen with cloud permission on, the text you chose is masked the same way and sent to ElevenLabs to create speech; Cartesia or Fish Audio are used only if ElevenLabs is unavailable. The audio is returned to your device and is not stored by the Riri Note API. Without Pro or cloud permission, Apple’s on-device voice is used and nothing is sent.
Retention and sharing
The API does not persist AI request or response text. Generated results are saved locally if you keep them. Support messages you explicitly submit are stored in Riri Note’s private database with Supabase until resolved or you request removal. Railway and Supabase process operational connection metadata under their service policies. Riri Note Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple; our subscription provider RevenueCat receives your member ID and purchase records so Pro follows your account. We do not use advertising tracking or sell note contents.
Your controls
Revoke cloud AI permission in Privacy & data, select on-device processing, sign out, manage system permissions, or delete your local library. Delete your account at any time in the app: My Space → Delete account. This permanently removes your Riri Note account and its cloud data, revokes Sign in with Apple, and removes your subscription record; cancel any App Store subscription in your Apple ID settings. To request removal of support records, email support@everydaytech.app or use My Space → Send feedback and select Privacy / data request.
Provider policies: Anthropic, OpenAI, Apple.
